program introduction-
The Nutcracker is a ballet composed by Tchaikovsky. Originally as E. T． A． A story by Hoffman called The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Tchaikovsky later added ballet music to the version adapted by Alexandre Dumas, which became the current version. It is a traditional Christmas program, suitable for all ages, and it is often performed.

In 2003, Ms. Su Mingzhu, director of the Rhodes Ballet, adapted the dance drama "The New Nutcracker" to commemorate and comfort the children and people who were hurt by the 921 earthquake. After more than ten years, ballet fans, especially those who often watch Rhodes' performances, often miss the rich and diverse visual and dance performances of this dance drama.

In the past ten years, the Rhodes Dance Company has produced many new talents. We hope to return to the classic performance "The Nutcracker" and bring the audience a visual feast with high visibility. At the same time, in such a warm festival, convey gratitude and happiness to everyone through the ballet "The Nutcracker".

The program is divided into two acts, with a 15-minute intermission, and a total length of about 90 minutes.
